Words - both written and spoken, have the power to capture a moment, to express a feeling. Since I could wield a pen, maybe even before that, storytelling has been a big part of my life. From non-fiction essays, to creative short stories, and everything in between, my work seeks to connect people and place.

​I have been short-listed for the Sargeson Prize, place runner-up in the Sunday Star Times competition, and twice commended in the Landfall Essay Competition, alongside being included in a range of anthologies.
